Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the Taylor Property Development Group support hub.

Please review our most common inquiries below. If you still need to reach our team, you can email us directly or contact us via one of our communication lines. Please note that due to increased operational demands and current resource constraints, our standard email response time is up to 3 working days.

Current Tenancies & Housing Support

How do I contact the team about an issue relating to my current tenancy?

For the quickest response, please send a WhatsApp message directly to the contact number provided in your tenancy welcome pack. Alternatively, you can reply directly to any email thread or contact our main inbox.

How do I report a maintenance issue?

You can report a maintenance issue by replying to your tenancy email thread with photos or videos and a clear description of the issue(s) so our maintenance team can log it accurately. For a quicker response, you may alternatively send these details over via WhatsApp.

What should I do if there is a critical property emergency?

If you are experiencing a critical property emergency—such as a major flood, a total loss of power, or a gas leak—do not wait for an email response. Please contact our dedicated emergency tenant WhatsApp line directly or call our AI-managed office telephone line immediately on 0151 314 4354.

Do you accept tenants who receive Housing Benefit or Universal Credit?

Yes. Our directors and staff have a profound, long-standing knowledge of the local housing benefit and rental markets. We welcome applications from tenants receiving housing support. Please ensure you state your housing benefit criteria clearly when applying so our teams can guide you smoothly through our referencing process.

Tenancy Renewals, Notice, & Inspections

Do I need to renew my tenancy agreement when the term ends?

No. Under current legislation, fixed-term tenancy agreements have been legally abolished in England. ALL tenancy agreements are now automatically issued on an open-ended Assured Periodic/Rolling basis. Because of this legislation, your contract simply rolls forward month-to-month, and you do not have to sign a renewal.

What is the notice period if I want to move out or end my tenancy?

Under current UK legislation, tenants are legally required to provide a minimum of a two-month written notice period to bring their periodic tenancy to an end. If you plan to leave, please email us with your intended move-out date so we can issue your official check-out instructions and deposit return guide.

Can I reschedule a routine property inspection?

If you have received a notification for an upcoming property inspection and need to change the date, we are happy to assist. Please reply directly to the inspection notice email or send us a WhatsApp message containing your preferred alternative time slots so our scheduling team can update your appointment.
